Google Ads Integration with Loyally Coupons

Learn how to connect your Google Ads campaigns to Loyally to track CAC, ROMI, and LTV — and turn ad clicks into loyal customers.

Google Ads are powerful for bringing new visitors to your business — but most campaigns stop tracking after the click.

You might know your Cost per Click (CPC) or Cost per Lead (CPL) — yet still have no idea how many of those people actually walk into your store, redeem an offer, or come back again.

With Loyally Coupons, you can track every step — from ad click → coupon install → in-store redemption → loyalty conversion → repeat visits.

This guide explains how to connect your Google Ads campaigns with Loyally to measure real-world conversions, calculate your Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and monitor Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) and Lifetime Value (LTV).

🎯 Why Use Loyally Coupons with Google Ads

Traditional Google Ads metrics only measure online actions. Loyally extends your analytics to real-world outcomes:

Loyally bridges the gap between online ad performance and real-world customer behavior.

⚙ How It Works

Step 1. Create a Coupon Card

  1. In your Loyally Dashboard, create a new Coupon Card.

  2. Add a first-time offer, like “Free coffee on your first visit” or “$10 off your first order.”

  3. This coupon will serve as the lead magnet in your Google Ads campaign.

Step 2. Add the Coupon Link to Your Google Ads Campaign

  1. Copy your Coupon Installation Link from Loyally.

  2. Paste it into your Google Ads ad or lead form as the final URL or call-to-action link.

  3. When someone clicks your ad, they’re directed to your Coupon Enrollment Page, where they can instantly install the coupon into their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Step 3. Customer Installs the Coupon

Once installed, the coupon appears on the customer’s phone and the user is automatically added to your Loyally CRM.

  • You can send automated push notifications (e.g., reminders to redeem).

  • The customer becomes a trackable lead in your dashboard.

Step 4. Customer Redeems the Coupon

When the customer visits your location and redeems the coupon, Loyally logs the transaction automatically.
You now know exactly how many Google Ad leads converted into paying customers.

Step 5. Measure Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

To calculate your true CAC:

CAC = Total Ad Spend ÷ Number of Redeemed Coupons

Example:
If you spent $500 and 50 coupons were redeemed, your CAC = $10 per paying customer.

Step 6. Convert Coupon Holders into Loyalty Members

After redemption, Loyally automatically converts the coupon into one of your regular loyalty cards — no manual work required.

You can choose to convert into:

  • Stamp Card — “Buy 10, get 1 free.”

  • Reward Card — earn points per purchase.

  • Cashback Card — collect a percentage back.

  • Discount Card — ongoing offer or tiered discount.

  • Membership Card — subscription or tiered access.

The customer instantly starts their retention journey with one pre-earned stamp or point from their first visit.

Process Overview Diagram

Google Ad → Customer Installs Coupon → Visits & Redeems → Coupon Converts to Loyalty Card → Repeat Visits → Data in Loyally Dashboard

☕ Example: Coffee Shop Campaign

Campaign Goal: Drive new visitors through Google Ads using a free-coffee offer.

Setup:

  1. Create a coupon card offering “Free coffee on your first visit.”

  2. Run a local Google Ads campaign targeting users near your café.

  3. Include the coupon’s installation link as your ad’s landing page.

Customer Flow:

  1. User clicks the ad → installs coupon → receives reminders.

  2. Visits your café → redeems coupon → gets their free drink.

  3. Coupon automatically converts to your Stamp Card with one stamp.

You can now track:

  • Coupon installs (leads).

  • Coupon redemptions (paying customers).

  • CAC, ROMI, and LTV (repeat value).

💡 Best Practices

  • 📍 Use Local Targeting – Limit ads to nearby zip codes for higher intent.

  • 📱 Optimize for Mobile – Most coupon installations happen on phones.

  • ⏱ Create Urgency – Set expiration (7–14 days) to encourage quick visits.

  • 🔗 Add UTM Parameters – e.g., utm_source=google_ads to track each campaign.

  • 🔁 Retarget Non-Redeemers – Show follow-up ads to users who installed but haven’t redeemed.

  • 💬 Leverage Push Notifications – Send one reminder before expiry, not spam.
